Our Story
Since 2021, The Real Relish Company has done more than refine an old tradition. As a food lover, our founder started by making jams and sauces. However, due to her long struggle with food and digestion, she quickly realized that fermented foods actually started to help heal her gut. Guided by an international palate, we fuse unique pickling techniques from around the world to create the most interesting flavors and textures while maintaining health benefits.
Everything is made in small batches from our kitchen in Battersea. To achieve optimal flavor, our products age from two weeks to four months, making every pickle worth your patience.
The Real Relish Company produces fresh, natural, organic produce from local farmers in the U.K. Even our spices are fresh. Just because pickling is a preservation process doesn’t mean you can use dried-up thyme or week-old asparagus that’s already a little spongy.
We want to give our customers healthy, crunchy and delicious pickled vegetables and fruits. Most of all, we want to help improve people’s health and experiences, as well as expand their palates and prove that pickles are just that - pickles. They’re a whole universe of gut health, immunity and glowing skin.
